Eager to recruit top students from South Korea and Taiwan? Don't miss
IEF's Spring 2003 American Education Fairs. These events provide excellent
opportunity to represent your academic institution in two of the world's five leading student markets.
South Korea (March 8-11, 2003)
The Spring 2003 American Education Fair kicks off in Korea, March 8-11. Newly expanded, this Korean tour now includes Seoul (at the COEX) and Pusan -- the nation's second largest city.
South Korea is the fourth leading source of international students in the United States. Last year,
this Southeast Asian nation sent more than 44,000 students to study in this country. A number of recent educational reforms — and a very strong economy — have made this nation the one to watch. Learn more.
Taiwan (March 14-18, 2003)
The tour then moves to Taiwan, March 14-18.
The Spring Fairs will include venues in Taiwan's three largest cities — Taipei, Kaohsiung and Taichung. The Taiwanese tour is part of the Study USA Asian Regional Tour, organized by the US Department of Commerce.
For more than a decade, IEF has launched successful recruitment fairs in Taiwan. Our fairs are co-sponsored by the American Institute in Taiwan, which functions like the American Embassy there. Participants also have an unique opportunity to attend special briefings with US and Taiwanese officials to discuss visa, cultural and recruitment issues.
Taiwan is the fifth leading source of overseas students in the United States. Learn more.
