Recommended Actions
In preparation for the 2006 conference, the following actions have been recommended:
-
Lengthen the workshop to up to three days in order to offer more intensive and in-depth sessions.

Expand the workshop to other locations on Taiwan, including Kaohsiung and
Taichung.

Solicit increased sponsorship support to help defray workshop costs for participants.

Continue to seek guidance from the American Language Teacher Training Council with regard to the format, content, and anticipated outcome of the workshop.

Pursue enhanced cooperation with the MOE and other government agencies on the planning and implementation of the workshop.
With the continuing support of our sponsors, AIEF looks forward to making the American Language Teachers’ Training Workshop in Taiwan an annual event.
