AIEF American International Education Foundation | IPR

The American International Education Foundation (AIEF) - with the guidance of the International Council on Intellectual Property Rights - is launching an ambitious, seven-year IPR training initiative for the Shanghai Municipal People's Government.

AIEF welcomes the active participation of businesses, industry groups, international funding organizations and governments - all recognizing the economic importance of elevating Shanghai's IPR enforcement programs to international standards.

On October 28-30, 2004, an invitation-only workshop will be held in Shanghai to lay the groundwork for the city's immediate and long-term IPR training priorities.

The event is organized by American International Education Foundation (AIEF), Shanghai Municipal People Government and Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration, with support from the U.S. Embassy in China, U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai, American Chamber of Commerce in the People's Republic of China, and other leading organizations.

This is an excellent way to support IPR policy development in China's leading industrial center, and communicate your organization's message to key decision makers, opinion leaders and business professionals from China and the United States.

Individuals may participate as patrons, and a wide variety of sponsorship opportunities are available for companies.

Members of AmCham-Shanghai and AmCham-China, who register online for the workshop before Oct. 20 are eligible for a 10 percent discount at the patron level. This discount will be refunded at the event upon verification of AmCham membership.
