American International Education Foundation (AIEF) Education
Fairs are among the most respected student recruitment fairs in
Asia. Our events take place in three of the world's
largest markets for international students in the United States - China
(#1), Korea (#3) and Taiwan
(#5).
Our Fair History:
Since the start of our foundation in 1992, AIEF has hosted
student fairs semiannually in Taiwan. These are now considered
the region's premier events.
In spring 2000, we launched China's first and largest student
recruitment fair supported by both the Chinese and U.S.
governments. More than 23,000 attended this groundbreaking
event, and since then AIEF has continued to host well-respected
fairs in the Chinese market.
Due to our success in China, we were asked to launch a student
recruitment fair in Korea beginning fall 2001. We continue to
host events in this region semiannually and have maintained a
strong reputation.
In fall 2005, AIEF began launching annual education fairs in
Singapore in collaboration with the United States Education
Information Center (USEIC).
Beginning in spring 2011, we branched out to Canadian schools to
offer them the opportunity to promote their programs to
international students, in collaboration with the Canadian Trade
Office in Taipei.
AIEF's student recruitment fairs are supported by the U.S. State
Department, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Fulbright Foundation,
China's Ministry of Education and the American Institute in
Taiwan, which functions as an embassy.
