Services

The following services are available individually or as a package at our EducationUSA Advising Center: 

• Library Display: Every American School can send 2-3 catalogs, brochures or publications to be displayed in the EducationUSA library. There is no cost for this service.
• Presentation Session: Presentation sessions are available to institutions wishing to promote a specific topic to Taiwanese students. These sessions include an E-announcement, 2 hours usage of the presentation room and optional arrangements for accommodations and airport pickup.
• Interpreter/Translation Service: A bilingual assistant can be arranged to provide translation services during your presentation or one-on-one communication with students and/or parents. We can also translate documents, brochures, flyers, etc. into Chinese for you.
• Prospective Student Follow-Up: AIEF has designed a service to help schools sort through student prospects by following up with them on your behalf and providing you with a status report.
• E-Announcement: An electronic announcement of an event, visit, fair participation, etc. can be sent out to our expansive student database in Taiwan, China, and/or Korea.
• Printing Service: AIEF provides printing services for flyers, brochures, handouts, etc. with translation included upon request.
• Website Translation Service: If you have a portion of your website specifically geared towards international students, AIEF can translate your web content into Chinese for you. Translation will include AIEF placing a banner link for your school on our regional website, www.uscampus.com.tw, that links to your school’s translated web page.
• EducationUSA Advising Center Memberships for Students: AIEF offers advising center memberships to students so that they may receive unlimited counseling, visa assistance, application assistance and guidance as they prepare for their education in the United States. U.S. schools may purchase memberships on behalf of their prospects so that they can refer students to our center and have our staff assist them with the application process locally. The fee per membership to the EducationUSA center is NT 300 (about US$120).
• Advertising: In order to help you brand your school’s name and/or maximize recruitment efforts in Taiwan, AIEF can arrange advertising in a local newspaper for you or arrange a banner link on our student services website,  www.uscampus.com.
• Mailing Service: AIEF can help you to promote your programs locally by mailing your catalogs/brochures to prospective students and/or local schools.
• English Proficiency Testing: In order to help you gauge the English Proficiency of prospective students; AIEF can administer the USAT test for you. This test is fully computerized and evaluates English language proficiency through the testing of five skills: reading, listening, grammar, writing, and speaking.
• Interview Pre-Scheduled Students: This service is available with a 3 or 10-day package only. AIEF will collect information from your school that allows us to promote your visit to our center and arrange appointments with interested students.
• Feature Article in E-Paper: This service is available with a 3 or 10-day package only. AIEF will collect information from your school and create a feature article to send through our student database in Taiwan.
• Other Services: AIEF can assist in arranging local school visits, making hotel reservations, and scheduling airport pickup.

3 or 10-Day Usage Package:

Services can be arranged as a package for 3 consecutive days usage for $1,000/year or 10 days usage for $1,500/year. Membership includes: presentation sessions, interview pre-scheduled students, E-Announcement, feature article in AIEF’s E-Newspaper, and use of office facilities. Assistance in: arranging local school visits, making hotel reservations and scheduling airport pickup.

• American Education Fairs:  Attending an education fair prior to using the EducationUSA center is recommended as it will help you to brand your school’s name and meet potential students before arranging activities through our center. • Internet-based Directory Plus: Allows year-round advertising of your school’s programs on our student services website, www.uscampus.com. Membership is extremely cost effective and includes a profile hosted on 4 regional websites that are translated into the local language as well as bonus tools that will allow you to actively recruit international students.
